A BIG thank you to Malinda Q.

Oh my gosh - You ROCK!! I could not believe all the cute stuff in this package!! The books are too cool - and the little ghost is adorable! My daughter is covered in chocolate and stickers;)

I had to post more then one picture ...


See what I mean?...


And I had the perfect spot for these plates.. I love the vinyl letters on them!!

    Lyndsey-I'm so glad you got the package and liked everything! I have to tell you that I was very intimidated to get your name! I've been following your blog, Lyndsey's craft spot, since before I ever started swapping, and I think you are super talented and creative!
    Piccolina Designs- I don't have a craft blog, I'm a bit of a blogging slacker, I can't even keep on my personal family blog! I will just give you some basic instructions. The books were really easy. Just get some old hardback books, or you can buy them at the dollar store. I used a power sander on the edges and the pages to give it a little bit of a worn look. Then I just cut my paper to size and glued it on. I lightly sanded and inked the edges. Then added my vinyl and twine! I hope that helps! I got the idea from a picture I saw somewhere online where someone had created Harry Potter-style books. I thought it would be fun to have some witches spell books for Halloween!

    Malinda you are to sweet!! When i get my swap partner I always look back at the old swap posts just to see what kind of stuff they send and receive. When I saw how cute your packages are i thought I better step my game up :) I am so glad that you like my blog- that makes me happy :)
