Helping a friend in "Nie"

I dropped the basket of V-Day goodies off for Nie today.  I brought along my sister-in-law who is in Stephanie mother-in-law's neighborhood. 

Here's what happened:  When we pulled up, the MIL & Nie's sister Courtney were out front.  Upon seeing the basket & after explaining that it was from an online swap group from all over the country, it was obvious Courtney was very touched.  She sounded very sincere & said to tell you all, "Thank you very much, this really means a lot to our family."  Nie's little daughter Jane ran up to see the goodies & grabbed the doll saying how cute it was!  Adorable little thing.

Well done, ladies.  I'm sure Stephanie appreciates the goodwill of strangers.  Her MIL said she is in a lot of pain & is staying put in her bedroom for now.  I know this basket brought some CHEER to a fellow woman in need.

Whenever I tell my husband I love him, he says back, "I love you more" Although I want to argue over and over, no I love you more, this is the one conversation that I let him have the last word :) Thank you Kelli for using our special saying! I've been needing something under this collage in my bedroom (so fresh, I don't even have pictures yet) and this is just perfect! (how did you know we use black, white and red? you didn't? good guess!)

And a special thanks for delivering our gifts to NieNie. I can't wait to hear how it goes! Please do share.

I was so excited when I received my package the other day. I love it all. The hanging even matches my living room (having a red living room makes it easy to be festive at Christmas, Valentine's Day, AND 4th of July). I've used some of the lip balm already, the magnet is on the fridge with all our family pictures, how'd you know I love fun socks, I can't wait to use the baking cups. And the yummy candle...I want to eat it! (but I won't). Thanks again for the awesome package!

I got my swap stuff today! Eden and I love EVERYTHING!! We really love the birthday shirt and the scripture tote is sooo cute!!!

I couldn't get her to look at the camera but here is Eden wearing her adorable headband, it looks so cute on her with her curls!

A little LOVE for NieNie

So I'm a huge fan of the NieNie Dialogues and this girl is in a ton of pain! If you haven't heard of her yet, go here and follow the link to her story about the plane crash. Since then, she has endured MANY surgeries with optimism and a great perspective. I can't help but notice that she is having a hard time right now and could use some love, support and happiness from all of us at swaperoos. And since our swap right now is entitled Happy Hearts, how can we not share our happy heart with someone that could really use the love?! Who's in?

Here's what to do: Send 1 Valentine's Day item (or more if you'd like) to Lolly Jane, who happens to live near where she is recovering right now! Email me for her address. Even if you are not a member of the Swaperoos Group, you are welcome to send over something special for Stephanie. We'll combine it all together and give her a nice care package!

We are doing a SPEED SWAP-- (One week for entries, one week for creating and collecting the items). DEADLINE TO ENTER IS Tuesday, January 26 at midnight CST.
I will pair you with your swap partner on Wednesday, January 27.
